Hi Guys,

I'm trying to figure out how to get the LAN userid using LDAP/Active Directory.  As a minimum all I need is the LAN details of the user that is visiting the intranet site.  ie; UserId/Name.  There's some detail about active directory connections on this OWS page  (http://openwebstudio.com/topic/Connec...) that looks like below...

Provider=ADSDSOObject;User Id=Username;Password=PasswordValue;

But this looks like it wants the username/password.  Has anyone ever done this before through OWS?

Cheers

do you connect your dnn with the Active Directory Provider?

find information here:

i've done that two years ago and as i remember - it works. There is some work at your IIS configuration.

good luck

richard
